Join us Monday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. as we salute our nation’s fallen during the Highland Park Memorial Day Ceremony.
Our first priority is public safety. As you know, the City-owned parking garage at Port Clinton and the Highland Park Movie Theater were closed two weeks ago after an independent fire inspection revealed that their sprinkler systems were not functioning.
When emergency issues arise that impact our city, it is our goal as a City Council and staff to take action as quickly, transparently and responsibly as possible.

The City of Highland Park is working towards consolidation opportunities and improved efficiencies. While many services provided are critical, we can do it better. The following article highlights some concrete suggestions and is quite thought-provoking.
